Aluminum replacement base bushings are also included to replace the stock mushy rubber bushings and create a more precise, direct shifting experience.

Now included in the Mazda 6 Short shifter kit is a specially designed bracket to relocate the mounting point of the shifter cable on the shifter assembly. This cable adapter is designed to correct the position of the shifter cable after a short shifter is installed.
